Why would they just not stream the game on their device in that case? Idiot.
Not everyone has the availability to stream ESPN, idiot.

You sure work hard at being an a-hole, a-hole.

it is funny how people are like, "fku, ima turn it down to 50. kiss my arse"

though I can guarantee Entrgy doesn't expect people to turn their stats 82. They hope people might set them at 74 instead of 70. And as a bonus, if the grid does go down, they can say, " see, we tried to warn you."

This is the way. 78 during the day. Stay outside most of the time. Down at night.

In terms of straining the power grid and your electric bill, this is the worst thing you can do.

Curious, why?

Generac dealers phones ringing off the hook.

I don’t have it but I’d be lying if I said I’ve never considered it. Sad times when no one can trust the power grid.

And still be 5-10% higher in price, thanks to AI data farms and Bitcoin miners.

There needs to be something done about that, so that people aren't screwed to help accommodate such things.

How many amps is your house pulling?

I propose we limit amps rather than set temperature limits. It takes far less energy to keep my house at 68 degrees than some of these Mc mansions at 78.

I DO know that my subdivision is half Demco and half Entergy. I DO know that when the people in my neighborhood lose power that have Entergy, my Demco is still powering my ice cold AC unit. I couldn't give two shits who they get "my" power from.

73/74 day, 71 at night. I actually had a restless night last week, kept waking up and couldn't sleep. When I finally got up (earlier than usual) I noticed that the thermostat was set on 72.
