He understands full well what you’re hoping to transition to. He actually addresses it in the post you replied to that is unedited.

Why did you ignore that?

1. There’s no such thing as “green energy,” it’s a scam to divert money to political benefactors. It’s just as dirty, maybe even more so, as fossil fuels. If they were really serious we would be going nuclear.

2. Even the climate scientists who provide the research for the IPCC say they see no reason to believe we are headed for catastrophe. The politicians get it and spin it into an existential threat.

3. Fewer net people have died due to climate related deaths and they are now able to farm in more places they previously couldn’t because of more co2 in the atmosphere. Also, plants don’t have to work as hard so yields all over the world have gone up, and many places that were brown are now greening.

Yep, he doesn't realize taking his position on everything would dictate that every study done by any arm of government, nasa, health care etc should immediately be thrown in the dumpster. Although that actually would help quite a bit in that case.

we are trying to force a full transition. If you wait for it to happen naturally it would never happen.

If the market wouldn't naturally adopt the technology and you have to force it then it's generally a bad idea.

Also, there is nothing "green" about the current push for "green" energy. There is NOTHING that can currently generate power like fossil fuels. Nothing.

You can claim you are green till you are blue in the face but you are lying to yourself. Your precious batteries are still being powered by fossil fuels.

Ah what? Nuke and Pump storage both are very good at producing power. Environmentalists don't like nuke for obvious reasons, cutting the tops off mountains and such seems to be unfavorable thing to do as well for them. Hydro is pretty good at what we do, but you need the river system behind it. No one makes cash like hydro, hard to beat the fuel cost of free.

What are you classifying as green to say nothing is green? That can mean a wide range of things.

You did choose to not bold the most important part, though.

I disagree. He highlighted the controversial part. Everyone knows that policies favoring renewables result in higher prices. The question: Is this a price we should pay, is answered by the part in bold.

Buddy, I have news for us. We energy sector executives are making fortunes off the energy transition.WeI’ve never made so much money. We have millions of dollars of surprise earnings due to the government throwing trillions at energy transition.

Clean coal was a lie. I can see other countries relying on coal for decades longer but not us.

We are relying on coal right now, and we will continue to increase our reliance on coal. They are just doing it in a way that fools you. Instead of building coal plants they are outsourcing our energy heavy manufacturing to countries that are speed-building coal plants., like Chyna.

Absolutely, the climate has always changed, sometimes more drastically and quickly than others, ie 6 Ice Ages and most recently in the Medieval Warming Period (900-1400) where the Vikings were able to go farther North than they ever had because of the melting ice in the Artic, and the Little Ice Age that followed that. They must have had diesel turbos way back then or were there just more animals farting?

I recently retired from the Energy industry and I can tell you that green energy is a total $ and political scam; its actually grand theft of the taxpayers who have to shell out the duckies to make it financially viable.

If we eat anything up then let me see if you are ready to embrace your green energy policy and quickly transition away from fossil fuels. Tell you what, send me the cost and I will pay for your ticket to get your arse on your battery operated electric jet and fly 14 hours from Chicago to Abu Dhabi. I will be waiting for you.. Good luck crossing the Atlantic! Or, better yet I will fly to Chicago on Etihad, then race you back in a Boeing 777.

How are your wind farms doing in and around the US like in South Texas on my deer lease? Last time I went there was not much wind blowing and a few birds were screwing on the huge wings, wings that were made with bi-products of fossil fuels.

Do you use a road to ride your sissy arse bicycle or ride in your fancy Tesla electric car? You should stay on dirt roads only because that nice paved country road or I-10 super highway provided to you was made from asphalt which needs fossil fuels to make. Oh, you should also take off those tires on your bike and your Tesla and boycott them... psst- they are made from fossil fuels. Moron

Have you worn a sweater this winter, or did not need to because of climate change and global warming. Well, the cold spells the US got recently and during the later part of 2022, you probably did wear a sweater made from fossil fuels.

Do you or your wife wear nail polish? Or, perhaps you wear panty hose, or how about perfume so you guys can smell good, and be romantic... Yep, fossil fuels for trans'

Do you have a job, you know work, or have kids in school? Because one of you might need to use a Pen to wright with or take notes.... psst- they are made from fossil fuels

Do you ever take a shite like most of us do? Or, maybe I missed the new green toilet (which would be to go outside and shite under a tree, then wipe your arse with leaves). psst- toilet seat is made of fossil fuels.

You must have Halitosis? Please tell me you use a green toothbrush and toothpaste?? Psst- they are both made from fossil fuels.

Do you eat your food on dishes? Please don't do that and offend your movement... Psst- they are made with fossil fuels. Moron

I'm sure you are bald and have no hair so you don't have to wash that greasy hair with shampoo... Psst- made of fossil fuels.

I'm sure you, your wife and children don't use a telephone... Of course not.... Psst- they are made with fossil fuels

Would you like a list of 100, 200 more every day items made of fossil fuels that we can just throw away forever?

You, your green fusks, transes, Biden sucking freaks please get on your Tesla battery powered jet and fly to Bangkok this coming weekend, I will be there, so we can have a discussion on all these things. Psst- bring your fossil fueled up condoms, you will need them
