I doubt any of those thugs legally purchased those weapons. And there are already laws against possession of stolen guns. Doubt the Nola DA would prosecute for that though.

Imagine being a grown arse woman and taking $1 plastic beads from an eleven year old kid. fricking people.

We went to Iris yesterday and I saw the same thing. Some heavily woman ~35-40 years old literally sideswiped a little girl who had to be about 4/5 years old. Literally put that girl on her arse on the street. All because she was trying to catch some Harry Potter (I think) bead.

Are y’all pretending that this is new? I saw it regularly at parades in NOLA back in the early ‘90’s.

Now I’m questioning myself but I’m pretty positive the law is you can’t open or conceal carry within 1000 feet of any permitted parade route

Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras seems ideal to me.

Sad that TD Karen's are mad bad things haven't been happening at the parades they are resorting to making up 'roving gangs' at the parades

I wonder how many swore off New Orleans and said they would never step foot in this shithole, but somehow found themselves at a parade…

Undesirables from all over SELA come to Nola just for today,

The biggest idiots I saw yesterday for Endymion was the white trash with blaring speakers set up across the street from us. From 8:30AM on their blared their crap.
8-10 heavy set guys with mostly goatees. Mixed in with yankee hats and white high stop sneakers.

These nimrods had made signs and started with the "show me your boobies" sign at 9:00AM. They worked that sign all day long as well as a "shake that arse for me" and got no results. They must have got lost and thought they were on Bourbon. I wonder what shithole small town they were from.

Let's just say that they leave Ponchatoula during Strawberry Festival because too much "culture".

As it should be.

I can vouch for it going back to the ‘70’s.

I’m sure some can even earlier.

I was in the same area and it was mostly…well…republicans. Actually I was near S. Scott and Canal which is literally 2 blocks down. I had no issues, saw no issues, and basically roamed when necessary with zero problems. Sounds like you’re being dramatic.

thought all the people on here supported open carry laws?
if it's in your pocket, then it's not open carry it's concealed. Even partially in pocket is concealed. If you are going to argue don't be a retard!

That's on you then. What exactly did you expect?

Of course there were going to be armed youths walking the streets, scoping out all the clueless and naive white folks who still dare to venture into city limits at night.

I was in that area and walked a lot and everything seemed fine to me. There was a very large crowd due to the nice weather.

For there to be no major incidents (like most parades) really is amazing. I’m not sure if it is a testament to the people or the authorities, but I lean towards the people.

A buddy lives in BFE Kansas. They have sack races and pancake eating contests on Mardi Gras day.
