Denver itself isn't much but it's close to lots of cool stuff
that is changing fast. But yeah, its not a draw in of itself.
Great food though.
I would pick denver but that is where I live. Austin and DC are cool. If pickin gup women is your game, go with DC. Its called menver for a reason, especially at your age range.

I'll say, it was much easier to get laid in Louisiana. But it's not like my balls are going rusty over here. Of course, I was also on the prowl in Nola much more often. And I used to lived next to Pal's, and that place after 2 was like shooting fish in a barrel.

Three good choices. I don't think you can go wrong moving to any of them. Best of luck.

I would choose either Denver or D.C. but I'm sure those places are stupid expensive to live
Denver's pretty cheap, actually. It's blowing up too. Really fun city and if you like skiing, well, there's that too. Gets cold, though (obviously), so you may need to change your wardrobe. DC is probably similar weather wise

The dry weather is amazing. 40s here feels like 60s in Louisiana.
0 up in the mountains doesn't feel bad if you have a jacket on and its still. The dry air is amazing. In Houston, BR, or NO 0 would feel like death.
Humidity is another reason to not live in DC. It's sticky there. Summers are hot in Austin but it's less humid than DC, Houston, or south Louisiana. Denver is always dry - dry heat or dry cold - both are better.

On point. I'm in Boulder, and it gets very windy there, which sucks at night. But it's also the most gorgeous city I've lived. Though I'm getting out of there in a couple months. I'm liberal, but not PC. Culturally, it's not my scene.

Sorry, Denver is full. Try Pueblo.

I'd go to Denver. Lowest rates of obesity in the country is a pretty good draw for a single guy.

Denver. I live in Boulder but go down to Denver fairly often. Great place and I would definitely choose it over DC or Austin

Worked in Denver for almost a couple weeks. Great town. Would LOVE to live there.
Visited DC before and it was cool, but Denver is outstanding.

I think the OP would be ok, but its going to be less women. And I do get complaints from guys that its hard to meet women, especially under 30. Over 30, its like a sea of women.

I can see this being a draw but I'd be willing to be that obesity rates for upper middle class white women between 20 and 35 are pretty comparable all over the country
and in reality that's his target anyway

Wow! Nice choices.
I think they're all good places to live in if you're single. Lots of single young professionals in those places.
Denver is really nice. I have a good friend who has lived there for 10+ years. Austin is super nice too. Good restaurants, bars, etc.

I didn't read the whole thread. Biggest question is whether there is any pay difference in DC vs the other two.
Personally I like DC the most out of those if you are getting paid enough (like a good 30 to 40% higher). If so, I would do that, but if you are not going to get paid more I don't think it is worth it since there are two other good choices. DC is a very type A place. Lots of professionals (from all over the country and world), tons of stuff to do, but it is definitely a career oriented place. I lived there for a few years and loved it.
If there is not a pay difference I would probably do Austin, but for OP depends on if he would rather be closer to home or try a new part of the country.

I wouldn't go to DC unless you're looking to get into a political type gig or work for some type of lobbying firm, think tank, or government contractor.
What? Now I'm sure that the only DC you've ever been to is what you're seeing on house of cards. The whole DC metro area is a hub for tech, second largest tech area in the country behind Silicon Valley, lots of finance And private equity (Carlyle is the biggest shop but there are other shops too) and consulting.
DC is not Frank Underwood and Remi Danton.
