Denver or Austin. I'd probably choose Denver and move somewhere outside the city

DC = politicians = shitehole
Denver = pretentious hippies but gorgeous scenery
Austin = some elite turds that go to the hor university but you know Texas won't offer any gun-grab legislation like those idiots in GA, and business climate is good.

You're going back to Texas!

1. Denver
2. Austin
3. DC

I also take into account COL, environment, and firearms accessibility.

Bethesda area is nice in DC, but I don't like the East Coast culture too much. I lived in Mechanicsville for about a year when I was growing up.

Colorado is full of yuppies, no thanks.

Austin best (but heavy shift in city soul with corporate influx of tech companies and large white Texas big city suburb cooked kids calling it "weird" says it is not as organic as I would wish for)

DC bites

Denver ok but love surrounding lifestyle

Good luck. Never an easy decision.

I guarantee there are a bunch of kids or rednecks answering this that have no clue what they're talking about.

Most people who think Denver is badass have landed at the airport and driven through to ski or summer mountain vacation.

Denver is full of ugly chicks, wanna be mountain men, FULL of bum,low-life losers, full of them. Go walk down the street in downtown Denver and make it 10 yards without being harrased by a 24 year white vagaband. Good Luck.

Austin has so many folks who think they're so fricking cool because they live in Austin it is exhausting, hipsters galore, Californians escaping taxes but bringing their culture with them, horrible traffic, expensive and tons of dragrats like Denver.

D.C. is expensive but if you're single it is by far the best place to find women. (Again, Denver Sucks for women) there are tons of outdoor activities to do, the area is clean for the most part and there is a great four season climate, with other cities, the beach, the mountains, etc. close by.

D.C. Area is expensive for a reason....it is NICE.

I lived in Austin for 5 years. Traffic is horrendous. It is a very over rated city in my opinion.

And most people who hate Denver never left the 16th street mall.

I live near DC and listen to the local AM radio station (WMAL) on my drive to work. The morning traffic reports sound horrendous.

Also it's truly a melting pot. A walk around Tyson's Galleria will show representatives from virtually every continent. Not a big deal to most but still something to consider.

COL is pretty high too but I think all the places you listed are high. Good luck!
