If weighing yourself is that embarrassing then you already know that you have a weight problem

If they have to give you a medication, isn't the dosage based on weight?

"Weight stigma" is a much less serious health risk than actually being a fatass.

You don’t have to weigh a cow before you give it medicine. You just give it the cow dose.

Can the doctor ask them not to sue them for malpractice as weight is a potentially significant diagnostic tool and measure of general health status?

the doctor should just ask them to leave and find a new doctor for that exact reason. will be the first to sue should something happen.

Fark board needs to go to work on that.

Why go to a doctor if you’re afraid to face your health issues?

This is ridiculous. What about the diseases/conditions that we can't yet detect that may be more apparent if we're able to look at a noticable trend in weight gain or weight loss? In fact a common sign of cancer is weight loss.

I guarantee 99% of holders are women. It’s typical of them the to think they can simply ignore a problem and it’ll go away. I used to play Oline and guess what? I’m a fat frick. I know that and my doctor knows that there’s zero reason to get your panties in a bunch bc either way you’re still fat.

So, these people know they're fat. They know its wrong. They're ashamed of it. Yet the problem is not with them, but with the doctor who wants to weigh them?

if your doctor listens to this, you need a new doctor. My doctor told me to lose weight...since then I've dropped about 35 lbs and ya know what....he was spot fricking on.

We have air taxis here in Alaska that shuttle people back and forth. First you put your bags on it, then you get on it. Always can tell the new people that seem nervous about getting on a scale with people around them.

There was a time period that I did not weigh myself for like a year and a half. I knew that I had gained some weight but I did not realize that I had gained over 20 lbs.

Somebody advised that buying a scale and weighing yourself every day will keep your weight in check. Last year (2020) I bought me a nice digital scale, went on a diet for new years resolution, lost 26 lbs. after 6 months and now I weigh myself everyday, no matter what. Best advice somebody could give me and best advise I could give you. Buy a scale and use it every day.
