When did we make the conscience decision that immigrants from India should own every gas station, liquor store, & hotel in this country? I don't remember ever voting on that.
You "voted" on it by being non-competitive.

people who work harder make more money?
But, just curious, are these "2" person households?

These people use all of their money to buy these places, work 24/7 with little breaks until they earn profits to cash out and do it again.
I knew a husband and wife that would just alternate shifts never closing at the convenience store down the street from me, literally lives in the back of the store raising their kids at their store. They sold a winning powerball ticket which got them a big payout, and used it to put a down payment on a house and move out. Now they have employees (likely other family) running the store and I assume they are relaxing and enjoying life.
They also work together as communities to share knowledge and help each other. The Chinese communities all help each other start and run Chinese restaurants, for example. They moved across the country opening in every city that didn’t have one, no matter how small. Mexicans do the same with their restaurants.

Same for most Hispanics, it just doesn’t show up in their incomes because of their occupations
Most Asian families are in their 4th and 5th generation in the US.
A lot of the "new" Hispanic families in Louisiana are only in the 2nd generation. They're coming out of the bottom now, just give them a few years.
I'm already seeing Hispanics owning larger and larger businesses - restaurants, bars, roofing companies, etc.
Look how quickly Garcia roofing has grown in less than 10 years.

The recipe has been the same forever:
Hard work
Education
Family
God/ values/ ethics
If you have all four it would be hard to fail. If you have none it would be impossible to succeed.

Many of the Asians that are coming to America are not the middle class Asians. They already had money before moving to the US. They are also some of the most hard working people I've ever met.
Yeah if you do that analysis based on income / hours worked (ie hourly wage) it would all average out.
I don’t think people have any idea how many hours Chinese families who own a restaurant work.
Same goes for Indian families who own hotels or gas stations. They are only profitable in many cases because they work there 100+ hrs a week.

But I was told I had privilege.

This is pretty common knowledge.
Asians focus relentlessly on education and have the highest rate of 2 parent households of any group.
Easy.

Interesting omission on the list.

It completely destroys the white supremacy and racism narrative in this country. If whites are racist they are clearly failing at the supremacy part.

A huge portion of Indian immigrants are working in tech or consulting industry. And salaries in both of those are very high.
More Baws should get jobs at IBM, Deloitte, and the FAANG companies. You’ll easily be in the 200k range in your mid 30s if you pick the right speciality. And when you get to a high level of experience, it’s easier to work remote.
Or better yet. Start or buy a business.
Also white Americans work and live all over the US. Outside of the major tech and consulting office hubs, salaries and COL are much lower.

I think this is going to be skewed by the number of white Americans that choose to live in remote places where the cost of living is lower and their salaries. I am one of them.

Seems about what i would expect.
There's a ton of bias in that data because only educated or wealthy can afford to immigrate or get the required Visas.

This is similar to what you see when you look at "white" subgroups. Eras settled by Scandinavian groups do better than any other region. The tendencies you see in Scandinavian countries carry over to other regions.
