The biggest danger with prostitution would seem like involuntary participation. For the madame or pimps who participate in the use of underage or trafficked people there ought to be very serious consequences. But it does seem weird for two willing people to be able to legally have sex if they meet in a bar- unless one of them offers to pay the other.
Sex out of marriage isn't a crime. Paying someone for their time isn't a crime. But the combination of those legal actions becomes a crime?
