White collar crime doesn't get prosecuted at even a fraction of what "normal" crime does.
For example, you could rob a convenience store for a couple hundred dollars and get a year in the state prison.
Or you could bilk innocent investors for millions, not pay any taxes on it, hide your illegally received cash into off shore accounts, and end up maybe spending 6 months in a federal pen, only after a year or two of appeals and legal wrangling.

Her friendship with Schultz helped bring her down through his grandson who was a whistleblower. She then used her famous attorney - David Boies to threaten to sue family. I think Boies was also on the Board as well as his getting paid for his law firm’s work for her company. He used some of the same tactics he is using as Weinstein’s attorney now.
She was a friend of Chelsea Clinton & Hillary supporter, but not sure if Hillary stuck with her after the money dried up.
Her dad’s background with Enron, EPA, USAID, US Trade Commission, & others I sure helped her gain a lot of contacts within the elite establishment which she used to help increase her company’s goodwill value.

Don’t see why she shouldn’t spend the rest of her life in prison just like Madoff. She lost many people hundreds of millions of dollars and probably caused some deaths with her fake lab results.

Yep, and the fact that her daddy was involved in the Enron scam means that anyone who invested in her scam company was a fool. It was a total failure by the oversight authorities to let her be in the position she was in. Total con artist family.
