the biggest joke of this photo is even if you did this, you’d just be miserable in your house and still not even save that much money

I prefer 70-72 when I’m sleeping but with a ceiling fan on I could do 73-75. 75 or higher at nighttime would take some time getting used to.

Wife and daughter have been out of town since Sunday. Before they left the projected bill was $306. The bar graph shows less usage since they left but the projected bill is now $313. WTF

Opened my electric bill expecting the worst…it wasn’t bad at all. Total energy usage for my household last month was under $200. I am pleased!

Fuel charge.

Energy charge.

I mean .. that’s nuts.

Our daughter goes to school in Mississippi. She and her roommates keep their place cold and think NOTHING of conserving energy. Their bills total for electricity, cable, water and gas don’t equal our electric bill here.

Yes, their house is smaller than ours but not much.

You must spend a lot of time outdoors.

I’m in an apartment.

Haven’t had a bill over $87. I’m in Dallas. Been hot as frick here and I keep my place on 70 when I’m home. Usually at work from 7-4 or 5. I bump it up to 78 when I leave and it’s usually 75 or 76 when I get home.

Lows around 50, highs around 60. LED lights (but don’t really need lights in AK this time of the year.

Mine went up $120 from last year. But it's because I have to keep the house comfortable all day for the baby and grandma. So I kinda understand it.

the new tiered charge amounts is what totally blows the bill up. You got a big house?? You are getting hammered. Wealth penalty
