Oh i see what you're asking.

What causes anti-social personality disorder?

That's a big discussion but here's the short answer. There are two camps.

One. The clean slate camp, which says everyone is born ok and capable of healthy social/interpersonal dynamics. Bad things happen and you become a bad person.

Two. The missing chip camp, which says you're born missing a part of yourself you can't get back and that missing piece will find a way to manifest in bad behavior.

If he went to walmart and shot people who were at walmart, his target were walmart shoppers.

But I doubt he went to walmart because he hated people who shopped there and wanted to kill them specifically for shopping at walmart. If that is what you are meaning...

is diagnosable and of course it would be an axis II diagnosis. The traits are quite specific. In children and teenagers anti-social traits are characterized as conduct disorder

Harris was under 21 at the time so he would have been given the diagnosis of conduct disorder. We can get into a discussion about whether every diagnosis in the DSM is a mental ill or not. I generally consider the vast majority of child/adolescent diagnoses as emotional/behavioral disorders and not a mental illness. So my point was that I don’t believe Harris had a diagnosable mental illness.

So. It’s also a factor of where you live. I live in NOVA. It doesn’t get much safer than it is here. And by here I mean anywhere in the world. Different places. Different perspectives.

If you were to eliminate urban areas from the stats in the US it is basically the safest country in the world.

Remember the name Eric Harris, one of the Columbine shooters. He was a budding sociopath. That’s not even a diagnosable mental illness.

If you restrict gun ownership to anyone with a diagnosable mental illness consider the following stat. that has been consistent for decades. Individuals with a mental illness are 7 times more likely to be the victim of violence than the general population.

As for determining danger to self or others, that is always a “point in time” determination. A person can be suicidal or homicidal one day and not the next, much less three months down the road. The converse is true. A person can not pose a threat today but become a threat later. Do we want mental status exams every day?

Is this an argument for a wholesale gun ban, no questions asked? Just speak plainly what this information you've provided insinuates.

Trump called immigrants rapists, animals, bad hombres, etc. Maybe trump fans should should have told Trump to send the El Paso shooter back before he killed 20 today.

This is true. It’s ehy even state-wide crime stats are largely worthless for looking at crime causality.

Interesting that you jump to the gun argument when I purposely avoided it.

I answered two questions: Which mental illness would you focus on? And how would you determine wellness?”

You seem quick to think I’m blaming mass shootings on guns, suggesting I’m insinuating something. Besides answering two specific questions I will say that my intent was to state that I am against blanket statements that blame all mass shooters as being mentally ill. Nit all of the mentally ill are dangerous and not all dangerous people are mentally ill. Our jails are full of murderers who have no mental illness.

What role does hormones play in all of this?

It seems like some of these shooters are in their late teens, early twenties. If people have these disorders, is it common for them to show these traits within that age range?

Again, he was referring to gang members and those that have already committed heinous crimes here. He never said all immigrants are bad. And I’m not a huge Trump fan. Stop being a stupid bitch.

FIFY

Trump did not call all immigrants rapists. He is saying there is a select segment of illegal immigration that does enter the United States that are criminals (which is true).

You seriously need hearing aids man. Selective hearing at work here. We get it, you hate trump.

I like the odds better in a penthouse apartment in a major city. But I cant just walk into one, piss in the toilet and claim it as mine.

I'm gonna watch porn now.

A little hairbrush masturbation is on tap tonight, followed by edging handjobs.

Nighty, night.

Something like half of all women are raped trying to get into the US illegally. I don't understand how a rational human being on either side of the political spectrum can think that not having enforced borders is a good idea. It blows my mind. You essentially don't have a country at that point.

I'm really starting to buy into the theory that we're living in a simulation and these open border people are just NPC's meant to frick with us.

All trump quotes below. Not sure if you’re in denial or just haven’t heard in the news. His administration has labeled immigrants and, based on the El Paso shooters manifesto, he agrees with Trump.

“They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

“We have some bad hombres here, and we’re going to get them out”

"People coming into the country, or trying to come in, we're stopping a lot of them ... You won't believe how bad these people are. These aren't people. They're animals."
