I guess if there’s federal money to be had then it makes sense but it’s a shame that there’s federal money to be had

Hey, thanks to the fine tax-paying citizens of this country we now have a slick new website called Heat.gov to track the heat.

We do not yet have Cold.gov, however.

I wonder if you can purchase .gov domain names like the other ones?

I feel like he’s declared more states of emergency than any governor ever.

It's better to give instruction on dealing with the heat as opposed to giving a sound bite (smack, smack) pandering for money.

few days of cold compared to almost a month of extreme heat, its not political!!

So what does this do for you, other than act as a diaper for your uncontrollable bowels at the sign of weather?

You're asking way too much for most of this board to understand what State of Emergency means. Really need to lower expectations and realize how easily plant workers are triggered.

Jeff MF'n Landry would be making the same call. He'd be negligent if he didn't.

at this point it seems like a portion of Louisiana’s industry is Federal government money

Why is there a “emergency” call needed?

This guy was elected in a heavily GOP state b/c of the emergency created by Jindal in two terms.
Have you forgotten that disaster in your hyper partisan amnesia?
He’ll, it was so bad he got re elected for a second term!
Now, we will have to learn all over again with the election of Landry, who is a complete dumbass compared to Jindal.
And make no mistake, I do not think Edwards was a great governor. But he was an improvement over the previous disasters…

Oh shut the frick up. You act like people didn’t just use an emergency for a huge power grab with covid.

Fear gives them more power. Oh those scary terrorists, let us spy on you now.

Forest fire and evacuations in Sabine Parish now.

Crazy. Too damn dry.
