VG sent everyone home at 2 this morning. It didn’t get sporty until I was tying up the boat at 5:30. Day and Night shift cancelled.

sustained wind of 40 mph (64 km/h) and a wind gust to 46 mph (74

Actually, right. At noon, sustained at 38.1kts, gusting to 44.5 knots. Converting knots to mph results in sustained at 44.5 mph, gusting to 51.5 mph.

5PM. Checking in from North of Houston. Still alive. So far we’ve accumulated almost enough precipitation to wet my driveway concrete before it evaporates.
Rain totals in and around Houston plummeting. I’m still hoping for a quarter inch of rain. Will likely run my sprinklers regardless tomorrow morning.
