What is Rispone’s platform? Other than being a conservative, I know nothing about him.

That and stop the job killing taxes and red tape regulations that chase our best and brightest and our businesses out of state.

The last four years under JBE has been very brutal to Louisiana as we’re completely missing out on the booming Trump economy thanks to one last hurrah from big government Dixiecrats and RINOS allied with them.

Rispone and Abraham are not JBE and promise to stop what he’s doing. Either one of them is good enough for me. JBE gotta go.

I'm voting for Eddie. But he's not going to win, is literally barely campaigning and I'm not giving him any money.

So let him have his fun.

It’s years later and it still shocks me how self serving and greedy Jay Dardenne and Scott Angelle was in going scorched fricking earth on a front runner they had no hope of defeating and then stabbing conservatives in the back by refusing to be a team player and endorsing JBE or staying home.

Dardenne was smart enough to know that he was finished in Louisiana Republican politics and whored out to JBE for a fat paycheck.

Scott Angelle was too arrogant to know that Acadiana conservatives hated his guts after what he did when he ran for a house seat a year later and he lost to Clay fricking Higgins of all people despite having the lead in polling and money over every other candidate.

Yep. Scott pissed off the wrong people and paid the price.

He pretty much committed political suicide.

That was the most infuriating election. Literally zero talk about policy. All JBE had to do was sit back, grin, and sling that bit of mud back at Vitter.

News flash: people can make questionable personal life decisions and yet still be great at their job.

Most of those same people who voted against Vitter would probably claim to love FDR and do you know where he was when he passed during his fourth term? In Georgia with his mistress.

Actually Dardenne and Angelle did most if not all the leg work on that.

When Vitter inexplicably to his own detriment allowed JBE to sneak into the runoff uncontested without sending out so much as one mailer or airing one ad spot against him, it allowed JBE to go all in on personal character politics and Vitter was just too damaged by Dardenne and Angelle to break through that narrative.

The kill shot was that patriots and prostitutes ad which was crushing and made sure there would be no policy debate.

But let’s be honest here and recognize Vitter did himself no favors in underestimating the appeal JBE would have to Dixiecrats who vote republican now these days.

Vitter earned the loss as he was lazy, too comfortable and thought the Governor’s race would be like his senate races and he was wrong.

It’s really disappointing as he would’ve been a great Governor.

I am from South Carolina and I know attorneys in Louisiana who have more assets in their back yards than this clown.
