I’m not sure anyone who would / does actually believe that in the first place. A couple of unhinged facebook nerds, sure. Reddit, I’m sure some. And there’s politicians pandering nonsense, nothing new.

Real folk, nah.

The only thing that really blows my mind is our dependents on plastics and single use products. The amount of trash we make is pretty wild. Most birds and sea mammals they find dead have significant amounts of plastics in their stomachs.

The only people I've heard spewing BS about this issue are the right wingers who got all jacked out of shape about a fake story.

So liberals wanting to lower our beef consumption and production isn't real?

Hmm, then why the frick do the run on that shite? Just to lie to their dumb base?

The problem is it not very hard to believe that this would be a next step in the Green Deal framework. Impossible to guess what is real and isn't sometimes.

Not sure why you are laughing. You voted for someone that said they wanted to lower our beef consumption and production.

even if you wanted to point to The New Green Deal as evidence of this belief, the Green Deal only ever discusses reducing the footprint of large cattle farms, not personal consumption

This right here, I don't remember hearing about replacing every lead pipe in the United States during his campaign.

He's not capable of understanding that voting for an ideology gets you more of that ideology.

Activist government destroys individual rights. Every single time.

Five years ago you'd laugh about parents not having to give consent for their child to take hormone blockers, but here we are.

Kamala Harris ran on lowering our beef consumption. Obviously a burger a month is a bit of a stretch. But give an inch.

True, but you can accomplish these goals by regulating the shite out of whatever it is you want to to cut down on consumption by eventually leading to beef being so expensive that people cannot afford it on the reg any longer, thus reducing the footprint (what they want to do to cars that use gas and/or gas eventually)
