Pine Ridge Reservation (SD/NE). Not really due to crime, just extreme poverty coupled with substance abuse and astronomical suicide rates. I think they estimate between 15-20% of the male population ages 15-35 has attempted suicide at least once

That must have happened after they tore down all of the old projects in New Orleans. Ive never seen anything shittier in this country than the St.Thomas, Magnolia, and St. Bernard projects.

Been working on the South side of St Louis for the last month, got 2 more to go. It’s right on the Mississippi, so don’t know if that’s the East part, but it’s pretty bad, the roads are bad. Going through some of the bad parts around where I work, and it’s fairly tense in areas. Most of the patients I’ve seen there are for drug, injection site infections. Fentanyl is strong, there...taking them out, as well....

East St Louis is easily worse than Camden, Baltimore, or New Orleans.

I’m surprised how nice the calliope and magnolia look now since they tore everything down and rebuilt it. Oh and don’t forget the Melpomene projects! Now, anything New Orleans East is a shithole after Katrina.

One of the worst areas I've delivered in was Blue Island, IL - the south side of Chicago that you're all told about on the news and such. That area looks like it was carpetbombed in WW2 and never rebuilt, exactly like the photos of Germany right after the war. Complete and total shithole - I was praying the entire way out back to the 294 and hauled arse as soon as I touched the on ramp.

Came into Chicago on a train once. Went through the worst neighborhood I ever saw. You could see into apartment buildings where the walls were crumbling.
