In general, my only comment to the media would be “frick off.” And I had family that used to be media.
They have their own stories they want to tell and anyone they interview tends to just be a prop used toward that end.

He’s a pretty calm dude and was always trying to help the industry and promote it — he got rather upset when he’d see the actual story on tv. It’s quite frustrating.

That owns land and a business. Compared to some yankee who lives in 1000 sq ft apartment up north in cold?

So a news station & a cop are on private property with property owner asking them to leave & they won’t?
Somethings fishy
Not really. Two years ago I had to call state police to remove local PD and two news crews after a kid committed suicide in the woods past us.
Local PD refused to do shite about the news crews and threatened to arrest me. LSP made all of them vacate and took over the scene.
They drove across literally miles of private property. All posted.

I had similar issue when a young adult OD'd on my families property in their car.
The media went on a private road on my land that was muddy after it rained. They tore the road up which I do not even use after a few days of heavy rain. You feel like pulling out your hair when stuff like that happens.
That same month which the OD happened, we had a vehicle set on fire on the property with a burnt up body inside.
As far as the guy being frustrated I understand how he feels.

Never complained about it — just saidnit was a hard year. Did I say we didn’t make money or that were hurting? I didn’t call it a bad year — it was a harder than normal year.

An article by a radio station over there said they got a Lafayette sheriff out there (not Duson cop area) and gave the reporter and the camera man trespassing tickets and Tee got a petty theft ticket. Allegedly Tee had the tv crews van keys.
I knew I recognized that damn voice...lmao! Not surprised he got that mad. Tee's a good guy, but don't get him mad.

hey could've gotten a remote shot off Hwy 90 shoulder. Austria road is a curious location to choose.
I happen to drive by this farm on my way home due to the accident/I-10 shut down and took the back roads home. I noticed the TV van a couple of hundred yards off of the main road. I thought that it was odd to see it and I was wondering why they were out there. Now I know but they went way out of their way to end up at this farm.

The more people that follow this line of thinking, the better. At some point, we as citizens have to stop watching these news networks. They’re nothing but lies. How long would you allow an habitual liar stick around you IRL? Not long? Yet, tons of people keep watching and keep taking their word for everything.
You can tell this chick knew she was in a bind.
Just to prove the fact that KLFY doesn’t even care that they were caught nor do they care that you know they’re lying, it’s been coming up on 24 hours now and they STILL haven’t released any sort of statement or explanation about anything. Even after this whole ordeal went semi-viral.
Because they know that you’ll keep watching. I bet there thousands of people this morning already watching Passé Patout with their coffee just giggling at their stupid corny jokes for three hours.
KLFY will eventually release a vague statement saying they were sorry and everyone will just go about their business because “oh, well..that explains it! Thank you!” You can bet that KLFY will immediately working on another opinionated story to spread their message and dramatized lies...just like habitual liars and addicts do. Gotta get them clicks and ad money!

Hopefully people realize that even if each individual mudbug were covered in Rona the boiling would kill every virion.
I promise you they’re covered in much worse anyway

Wouldn't the act of boiling crawfish kill the rona anyway?
Posted on 5/21/20 at 7:02 am to rondo
Yes. Boiling will kill any infectious agent except prions. And fortunately as of now there’s no such thing as Mad Crawfish Disease

This farmer likely didn’t want his industry to get a bad name
No, he stated his reasons pretty clearly in the video. He didn’t want them filming his ponds for a story about corona virus because what happens when someone (buyer, govt agency or whoever) sees the ponds on their broadcast. A buyer he supplies could say we aren’t purchasing from you until you test your ponds. A state agency could come in and tell him he can’t sell his crawfish until his ponds are tested. Just like he said, putting his business and his ponds out there in a story about corona virus means he will lose money because as soon as they do he will have to have his ponds tested. The tv station sure as hell isnt going to pay for it. He had every right to be pissed.
