An article by a radio station over there said they got a Lafayette sheriff out there (not Duson cop area) and gave the reporter and the camera man trespassing tickets and Tee got a petty theft ticket. Allegedly Tee had the tv crews van keys.

She sucks even more since she went to Alabama for college.
She spells her name like the boy version of Brayden

Dumbass. None Of them are illegal.
You sound like a huge bitch and would have just stood there like the camera man

Austria road is a curious location to choose.
You have to get lost to find that road. No way they should’ve been there for a random shot of a crawfish pond.

Lol they were probably just there to get a shot of a crawfish pond. You know, to use on the tv news broadcast. They typically have pictures or videos of what they’re reporting on. These idiots think they’re making up a story about the pond being contaminated or something when the actual story is that 100 illegal workers from various ponds in the area tested positive. Which is not surprising, those houses they stay in usually have about 20 people in them. They’re all over the state. I mean I understand not wanting trespassers but jeez that dude freaked out and made up his own story.
First of all they could of stayed on the road to get the shot
2nd hardly any crawfish workers are illegal
3rd and most importantly no crawfish farms had workers test positive
The workers that tested positive were at peeling plants

Why don’t you look at how many H2a and H2B visas are filed in SW LA since you know so much and while you are at it look up the pay rates and housing requirements

It’s easier just to assume all brown people are here and working illegally
Posted on 5/20/20 at 9:08 pm to Master Guilbeau
I’m sure a fine young man like yourself, being in the crawfish industry, would know where all of the illegals, if any, are located!!

Glenn Guilbeau is that shitty reporter who trolls for clicks
Posted on 5/20/20 at 9:16 pm to LSU316
That’s exactly where the cases came from. No crawfish farm has 100 workers. It was actually at multiple peeling plants that’s why there’s so many cases
Posted on 5/20/20 at 9:16 pm to jimbeam
Why is Covid at peeling plants supposed to be a big deal. Do people not cook them?
Posted on 5/20/20 at 9:24 pm to Midtiger farm
Ok my bad. I just remember growing up seeing those houses stacked full of Mexicans working in the sweet potato fields. Still do see them on my drives back in home in like the lebeau, avoyelles parish area. Pretty sure they weren’t here legally. Thought that may have been the case with crawfish ponds as well.

Thats a problem.
Juss make sure you cook dem crawfish good good yeah.
If you dont semi brown your crawfish to make them a little red then yes you dont know how to make etoufee;.

Don’t just spew BS by saying I “thought” they would be illegal just because of a sweet potato farm in the state on your way home. Be better than that

My husband is a farmer and has been interviewed several times in the past and no matter how positive he was they spun it. He finally started saying no way and hasn’t done another one.
This farmer likely didn’t want his industry to get a bad name — it’s been a hard enough year for crawfish farmers as it is.
