Imagine some baw going about his day loading up building materials in his normal pickup truck, meanwhile a blue-haired leftist is watching from afar in a Prius, melting down on TikTok or Reddit or whatever about this fascist flaunting his carbon emissions and ruining the climate.

That's you, just from a different perspective.

Things that uncontrollably trigger the OT:

1. EVs
2. Progressive thinking
3. BBC
4. BabyTac still being allowed to post.

It wasn't about the loading or unloading, genius.

You're a projecting busybody. Maybe he was double checking that he bought the right size big black dildo. Who gives a shite? It's none of your business what this guy was doing with his own vehicle. And I say that as someone who would never own that piece of shite.

Once saw a guy pull up to a gas station in a BMW 7 Series with those spinner rims. He gets out of his car, spins each of his rims by hand and walks inside the store.

EV's are fine for commuter vehicles. What the OT doesn't like is them being force fed to us.

Progressive thinking has destroyed this country. Congrats to the democratic party for your ability to completely divide the country.

I don't watch british TV.

This is always such a moronic argument. If you put 800lbs of bagged concrete mix the truck will drive laps while your car's frame scrubs the track. Yeah, they are trucks but with bolt-ons and a tune the 2nd Gen Lightnings ran 12's. They were 4,600lb trucks, same weight as a Tesla Model S.

You're bringing back bad memories, man

Those arguments just never rang true to me. A Tesla Model S isn't a sports car, either, IMO. At 4,600lbs a vehicle is almost twice the weight of a notchback Fox Mustang... a car people were already calling nOt A rEaL SpOrTs CaR. (That's before you throw concrete in the bed.)

I'll admit, though, I have an irrational prejudice against Lightnings.

4. Travel Ball

People are free to do what they like, and more power to them. However, the thought of participating in travel ball is, personally, extremely cringe.

Stereotypes exist for a reason.

I had a 1993 5.0 Calypso notchback and it weighed a little over 3200lbs wet. Mine was stock except for exhaust, gears, and a Steeda Triax. Buddies had Gen 1 and a Gen 2 L-trucks, track prepped that gen 2 got down to about 4475. Gen 2 Lightnings were about 100lbs lighter than the regular 5.4L extended cab trucks...gives an idea of how much weight contemporary vehicles have gained compared to just 20 years ago.
