so i'm waiting for the missus in the parking lot of traders the other day and watch this guy drive up and get butthurt nobody notices his ride.
so he pops the 'hood' so everyone can see its a trunk and pretends to rummage through his bags and then he looks around again, closes it and walks 5 steps..turns back around and re-opens it from his fancy keyfob and does the same thing a second time before walking off while looking all around to see if any chicks are running towards him to ask for sex.

Ford is still having major problems with parts that haven’t really changed much in 30 years. They struggle with QC and supplier quality on their regular vehicles.
No way I would buy a first gen EV from them.

Lightnings have always been extremely cringeworthy vehicles IMO.
I used to race and restore Mustangs back when Ford was making the 5.4L supercharged Lightning, and I'd run into those Lightning guys at events, online, etc. and they wore thin reeeeeally quickly. They liked to talk about quarter-mile times and I'm like, dude, that is in NO way a sports car and if you tried to chase me down in any real-world scenario you'd end up looking at upside-down trees.
I'm sure the battery-powered version is even heaview and more awkward than those old 5.4L Lightnings.
