I just looked through my rush documents from this year and a kid by the same name, same age, and same hometown rushed this year. That has to be him, meaning that he is almost certainly a pledge.

Yeah because I read all three pages up to your post above and the responses were OT lite, except for two. The main concerns seem to be whether the poor young man was technically a member of a frat or not.

And how does one manage this in BR? Serious question. OLOL, which has/had the best trauma care in the city has turned into Earl K Long, and with them closing their Mid-city location, I hear BR General isn't much better. Where is the closest hospital that isn't overrun with poors post-Obamacare? My experience a year or two ago when my Dad had some complications following surgery and was sent to OLOL Intensive Care with some patrons and their families that would have formerly been served out on Airline Highway was the final straw in ensuring I won't retire anywhere near this shithole town.

KA may or may not be f**ked. If the incident occured upstairs then they are in the clear because the upstairs was considered a residence so you could consume alcohol or have a party without it being an official party (assuming the rules are the same as they were when I was there), but if it happened downstairs KA is boned. Downstairs is where you have to have an official party to consume alcohol. I have no details to share because KA is being tight lipped about it just like they should.

So this guy is apparently a dipshit that deserves everything he gets. Feel bad for the girl obviously and feel bad for anyone else who's college experience might be forever changed because of one guy's actions.

It will be a shame if the fraternity is punished. He may be a member/pledge but his actions are his own unless they prove otherwise.

He is 18 and drunk at a frat house. They will investigate to see where he recieved his alcohol. Hopefully for the frat, he "showed up" that way and wasnt given anything while at the house.
