I drew the duck blue because, well I’ve never seen a blue duck before, and to be honest with you, I wanted to see a blue duck.

Have you never been to a co-op store? There’s yellow ducklings for sale.

Because back in day of animated cartoons exotic colors weren’t available and white wouldn’t show up. Do you want your ducks solid red, purple, green or black? Yellow was the most neutral color available at the time. So flash forward a couple of years you have Millions of people getting indoctrinated while watching movies and television, having their brains pummeled with nothing but yellow ducks. Soon the yellow duck became the norm and the world moved on.

Those are chicks, not specifically ducklings. It has the word "chicks" on the package. Twice. There is no way to know what species is in that pack.

"Chicks" is the name made up for the mainstream. Everyone knows they're actually ducklings.

Ole Blue Duck thought he could fly. Woodrow, and Gus, both regretted not killing him when they were Rangers.
