OT won't like this.

The state launched the program in August, and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services recently revealed to Vox that 0.3 percent of the approximate 7,600 applicants and recipients screened for drug abuse tested positive for drug use. Other states have seen similar results. A mere 0.17 percent of the 39,121 applicants tested in Tennessee were found to be using illicit drugs, according to the Tennessean. In Arizona, more than 87,000 welfare recipients went through drug testing and only one person tested positive, USA Today reports.

7600 applicants out of how many are actually on welfare? This study is bogus.

why not? Most people collecting pay checks have to submit to random drug test why shouldn't welfare recipients?

Welfare drug screens are easy to beat. I've beaten several.

Hair tests would likely create a different result.

I do think people underestimate how many people receive assistance and it isn't all crack houses.
.....but
Who in their right mind believes these statistics. It is impossible to grab any cross section of our population with a sample size as large as 87,000 people and none of them be on drugs.

You are stupid if you believe this. You know how many plant workers do drugs? They have all kinds of ways to go around it. I wish you had a board to belong to where you had more like minded people to you. However, I find it hard to imagine you believe most of the shite supportING some of the thugs you do. During the mike brown thing you were terrible. Then you figure out you were wrong and change your tune. You are no better than the ot. They might be racist but so are you.

Still got some of them and I'm sure the battery of tests isn't as comprehensive as it should be.
