I'll add to this list as a trucker and it just happened to me outside of Toledo: I merge to the left lane to let people merge into the right lane from an on ramp. Instead of speeding up or slowing down to let me back over into the right lane, they stay right there next to me in my blind spot.
Dude. I was kind enough to let you in without strife. You see my 5 lights on the side of my truck flashing meaning I want to get back over, don't be an inconsiderate price. Back off or speed up for me, I'm the one who is governed with traffic tailgating me.

I was in this situation just the other day, except I was one of the cars that a big rig moved to the left lane to let me and a few cars ahead of merge in. The cars in front of me didn’t speed up and just hung out there, knowing damn well that truck was trying to get back over to the right lane. Really pissed me off

Two cars facing each other both turning left on a divided highway, you don’t run in front of the opposing car, you turn behind it.

Cutting across two or three lanes of traffic to make an abrupt exit off the freeway. Of all the driving sins, this is the worst offense.

It seems like common sense. You want to see what is coming at you from the other direction instead of jusy praying the coast is clear when the other car is completely blocking your line of sight

This situation is in theory only. It never actually happens..

It’s not a theory. It’s a plausible scenario that is flexible to many dynamic situations.

If you can't judge whether a vehicle is moving or not and you're worried about hitting someone, back up off extra space when driving in the rain.

It doesn’t matter how well your judgment is. Traffic can be a dynamic situation. You’re not always going have time for judgement. Backing off an extra space won’t do shite when the other guy is stopped and you’re going 60 mph. You clearly can’t wrap your mind around any situation other than the narrow you’re thinking of.

That long arse exit only lane leading up to college drive on I-10…it used to drive me nuts when I’d be behind some slow fricker that whole way and he gets over at the last second.

Seems like everyone around here has two speeds they go:

1. At least 10 over the speed limit.

2. At least 10 under the speed limit.

Why???

Also they need to bring back trees in the median of interstates and highways because people don’t know how to mind their own damn side of the roadway. Took me over 15 minutes to go roughly 2 miles a few weeks back because idiots were slowing down because of a minor fender bender on the other side of the interstate that had already been moved to the right shoulder. Why are you slowing down for that? That’s not your concern.

Someone cuts you off then drives slow. At the next light they make it through and you don’t. Now you just have to sit there and stew.

My biggest gripe. When people pull into traffic, I get it, sometimes you have to pick a spot, go for it. We’ve all done it.

But when someone pulls out in front of me and I have to hit the breaks, I always check the rear view. If there is nobody behind me and they could have just let me pass first, it pisses me off.

People who are turning off of South Harrell's Ferry Road on to Jones Creek Road and stop at the intersection because there are cars turning left from South Harrell's Ferry on to Jones Creek. The former are not required to yield, but to keep moving. This really grinds my gears.

I have a road with a similar sign near me and one day some dumbass honked at me for not yielding even though I don’t have to. He wanted to turn into my lane.

Had another similar thing happen in a roundabout. Some chick went from one stop right to another instead of waiting to yield for me (I was in the circle) then she honks at me because I was getting too close to her!

How about this scenario.? You are the only left turner with little to no traffic behind you. The other left turn lane is full of vehicles and the traffic lanes you’re hoping to cross are heavily congested. Do you still go behind the first opposite left turner, blocking the left turn lane when it would be clear sailing for all of the opposite side left turners? Or do you go in front and wait for an opening, allowing the opposite left turn lane to clear since they have no traffic in front except for you?

I don't agree with that, though I realize some busy-body driver's ed teachers make this claim.

From the Virginia Driver's Manual

“When two vehicles are approaching each other and signaling to turn left, both vehicles should take the inside path, the lane closest to the center,” the manual reads. “They will complete the turn by turning in front of each other.”

ETA- If the area where you both sit in the median is striped or just really big, then I do agree with your way. You did say "divided highway."

People who pull out in front of me causing me to have to hit my brakes when it’s obvious there is no one behind me for miles. Wait 3 fricking seconds.
