Accord guy should have left the house 10 seconds sooner if he wanted to be in front of that truck on the highway.

I was in the right lane in slower traffic on the interstate and blocked someone from passing me in the safety lane (put a wheel off just to narrow the opportunity). That sent them into orbit. Usually in that situation they swerve back in front of you slinging trash and rocks from the side of the road, risking broken windows/chipped paint.
They went into a fit of rage, tailgating, flashing lights, etc. Could have escalated into a collision, or worse.
Today, I regret it. It's just not worth it. There are always going to be assholes, no matter what I think or do.

I am almost always the fastest car on the interstate, and very much welcome cars flying up on my arse, as it gives me some cover.
I don't ride people's bumpers or force myself into the other lane and cut people off. I have shoulder passed 18 wheelers after sitting behind them running side by side for several miles, but the road was clear in front of them. You can drive fast without being an a hole.

Unless it is has happened recently, the autobahns of Germany never used to have a speed limit, so that is a big difference.

I don’t know if it’s ego, competitiveness, some sense of justice/fairness, or what but yeah I’ve done it many times and still not exactly sure why. But I was wrong for it mostly. And if I was that truck dude, very much.

Car deserved what they got, but the truck was an a-hole too. Wonder what happened prior to this. Truck was watching the car the entire time, and floored it right when he saw the car even begin to move towards the shoulder.

It's obvious the Raptor driver was blocking the Accord from passing. I would've probably done the same. I hate drivers like that.

The guy who filmed it on his dash cam said he called police afterwards to see if they needed his video footage, he also asked about the driver. The police said the driver of the Accord is OK.

I mean, both drivers have fault. The car drivers for is reckless passing and the truck driver for making it worse by his own road rage.

The truck was passing cars, so he had every right to be in the left lane. Sorry if he wasn’t passing them as fast as you want him to, but that’s not how it works.

I mean, he was passing, maybe slower than anyone would like, but it didn't appear he was just cruising at the same speed of the SUV.
The car driver needed to exercise some patience here, he could have passed shortly, even if he decided to dive to the right lane and pass the truck before it could get it.
Left lane driving though is an epidemic in this country, I see it everyday, even when there is no traffic in the right lane. I think I pass more people in the right lane now than I do in the left. It's ridiculous.
