It’s just weird that you’re taking the stance of not believing them becuase you think they are pushing something harder than others. When that’s kinda the point of the book.

Drinking milk while suffering from a cold or the flu
We ate/drank whatever we wanted when we were sick.
Still do.
Rediscovered milk as a frequent drink a couple of years ago.
tl/dr: Titties = Undefeated

I remember when I was a small child back in the late 1970s / early 1980s, it was pretty widely agreed upon that you didn't give a kid with a cold or the flu milk.
I am a child of the 70's / 80's and I have never heard of this.

My grandmother believed drinking milk when eating fried fish would kill you.
Don’t remember ever wanting to drink milk while eating fish but she would always tell us not to do it

Adults should never be drinking milk period unless you are bulking and just finished a brutal workout.

Dairy products cause more mucus production.

Definitely a fever. Milk turned sour in my stomach because of my fever. Threw up all over the place.
It's sad people are this ignorant. Good Lord.

Warm milk with melted honey is a magical treatment for a sore throat.

All you seasonal head cold sufferers: can I interest you in a nice, cold, tall glass of milk?
I wish it were an old wives tale.
I could eat breakfast cereal for any meal of the day and had to let it go for the sake of my sinuses.

Never heard of this. I drink a lot of milk and continue to do so whether or not I'm ill.

In the last 5 years I have suffered from chronic cough caused by post nasal drip. A lifelong milk drinker I usually drank 2 to 3 glasses of milk a day. Several months ago I stopped drinking milk completely and I don’t if related but my post nasal drip went away and I have stopped coughing!
