When a city/state/country becomes IDEOLOGICALLY POSSESSED they think that their ideology will somehow immunize them from reality. Progressivism, being the Fundamentalism that grips LA/California/Leftist enclave culture, is all about pretending that moral relativism and virtue signaling is a substitute for competent public policy. They think they can emote their way out of the problems they have created for themselves. Progressivism in the end is essentially never having to say you are sorry. You just run something into the ground and move on to the next thing. Currently they are running the great cities of The West Coast into the ground. Soon, having completed that, they will move on to destroying the next thing. Wash, rinse, repeat.

It isn't the rodents that are bringing in rare deadly diseases

Some guy on a podcast was talking about this a few weeks ago. He lives in LA and was talking about how bad these diseases that had mostly been eradicated coming back and having to dodge needles in his suburban neighborhood.

Los Angeles is most definitely a shithole.

Dallas is beyond hot. We are in another dimension of hotness. Someone said LA is 75 year round and that's simply not true. That's more like San Diego which weather wise is heaven on Earth.

So San Diego is heaven on earth weather wise, but LA which is 2 hours to the north is "hot as shite"?

San Diego is great weather wise, but so is LA... maybe not as good as San Diego, but still great.

You need to define "LA". The South Bay and coastal cities like Santa Monica and Malibu have mild weather, the San Fernando Valley and other inland locations can get over 100 degree temps and can be humid.

I guess while we are at it we should use zip and area codes too.

310 is much cooler in summer than 504 and 225.

it depends where you are. if you are out in the city and closer to the beach then the temperature is pretty mild. if you are inland and out in the valley like i was, it gets pretty hot during the day in the summer. difference with places like texas is that its a dry heat and you get reprieves in the morning and the evening

This.

People mention San Diego, but sd is almost entirely near the water so the weather is mild. Santa Monica weather is similar to SD.

The valleys are hot as frick during the summer, close to 110 in some areas.

On those really hot days LA proper (downtown, Hollywood) will get upper 90s and maybe touch 100.

There’s no humidity anywhere in Los Angeles. At least anything that compares to Louisiana, Florida or the east coast.
