Douglas Tires: Walmart version of GoodYear

Anyone use them? Safety concerns?
I'll be paying off my 152,000 mile Ford Fusion next month, and I'll don't care to spend $700 on a set of tires.
I just want something inexpensive and reliable, and these are $54 a piece.

It's a cheap tire and cheaply made obviously but you should get about 30-35k out of them with no problems.

They're owned Goodyear and made in the same plants as Goodyear. You'll be fine.

Best tire for the money is Mastercraft. Goodyears, I have never had luck with! Overpriced and not as good as other for less cost.

I remember when I was in college, I once bought four Douglas tires for $99 (total). Had to pay a few bucks extra for balancing etc.
What's the warranty on them? If it's at least 36,000 miles, I think you are solid. Even if it's like 25-30K miles, I mean, that should get you a couple of years out of them.

i use them all the time with no issues, last as long as they are rated, ride smooth and grip well.
other tires might be better but nothing at all wrong with douglas brand tires from walmart

Sears used to make a steel belted radial that was a very good tire made by Michelin.
