I wish I had a picture of what a box combo from cane’s looked like in 1999 when I first ate there, and a picture of what he calls a box combo now to do a comparison.
In 1999 people didn’t take pictures of their food though.

Great for a fire starter if you're in a pinch though

But people in Ukraine don’t have chips right now so it’s a small price to pay

This is a good thing. The population is fat.

Shrinkflation could be the blessing in disguise that saves America from an epidemic of fatasses.

I'm surprised they didn't frame this as 5% less fat, or lower calorie option in giant BOLD letters. By cutting their product with air they promote health for LBGTIA+ youth and POC. Basically saving the world one chip at a time. Come on PR people, do your job. Nevermind it's poison, no need to mention fewer chips, if the letters are big enough, the words important enough no one will notice. Coming soon Russia-free chips and Covid-free chips.

Those 5 fewer chips will become ethanol instead.

FritoLay is a company we should be boycotting they put flavoring in their chips made from human kidney cells, its called HEK 293 made by senomyx
besides they control the chip market by buying out shelf space at the market, ever notice store brand or other brands space getting smaller and smaller

Very seldom do I eat any chips. When I do, I feel like……..not eating chips anymore.

Zapps has already been doing this. Their chips are like the size of quarters now.
Being bought out by Utz has ruined them. Constantly having bags that are under seasoned or over cooked.

All food items have been or will be doing this.
Check the ounces on what you buy now and compare them to what you see in the coming weeks/months.

My main question: Where are the Fritos?

Skimplation in action

We've all heard about rising inflation. The price of stuff is going up. And if you read this newsletter, you've heard of shrinkflation. That's when the price of stuff stays the same, but the amount you get goes down.

Fatty Food company Frito-Lay-Me-Down-To-My-Eternal-Rest has cut down the number of chips in each bag of Doritos

This is incorrect information. We’d have to change UPCs on the bags if we change the weight. There was a price increase a few months ago.

Chip bags have been shrinking for years. I remember as a kid the family size bags being huge. Now they’re barely bigger than what the regular size bags used to be
