Curtilage? Wtf is this shite? Just say parvise or peristyle like a normal person. Bruh.

I’ve literally never heard those latter terms, but there are several hundred years of jurisprudence regarding the concept of curtilage

I think context matters here. IF he truly ordered food to be delivered to his home, got naked, left the door wide open. That is a bit different than what you're describing.
For example. You're allowed to be naked in your house all day long. You can have sex in your house all day long. But if you decide to have sex in the living room in front of the window, curtains fully open so that any random neighbor walking by has a full view of the act. You're going to have a lot of explaining to do to the judge.

I handled a case many years ago in which my client was arrested for masturbating in his living room. Woman and her daughter were walking by, saw him through the window, and called law enforcement.

Should have stolen a package off some neighbors porch and gone to pick up her next delivery.

Convinced most of these porch pirates are uber eats drivers transiting the neighborhood on their way to deliver a Mc griddle.

But people in the neighborhood love the shite.

And lol at the drivers door dashing in a new $85,000 suv. All door dash is good for is allowing for workers and customers to make bad decisions at the speed of light.

Yeh, that's stupid, perverted, and disturbing on the part of the guy doing that but still not sure that's worthy of having the police called and being arrested unless the guy is facing the window while doing it. Totally different ballgame then.

Not necessarily arguing the illegality of the circumstances of the case you're describing but why is the first reaction of a woman on the street to call the police on someone doing that well within their own home? It'd be one thing if the passerby witnessed something that would be illegal whether anyone saw it or not but that? I realize it's a lot different but the way things are going eventually a guy is going to have the police called on him for sexual harrassment or public indecency for reaching into his boxers to scratch his balls while standing in his living room with the window shades open

the original video where the door was slightly cracked and she opened it so the whole "he left the door wide open".

Wow. There was video of her pushing a cracked door? I hope she gets every trouble from this she deserves.

I’ve seen someone pass out in the middle of taking their shoes off. It’s not out of the realm that he ordered food then passed out. Not to mention door dash takes forever to get your food to you.

He will sue and win (or settle) a lawsuit against Door Dash.

He will get paid but the thing missing from the OP is he was on his sofa, which is viewable from the porch. It was a duplex and from the video, the sofa to the front door was like 10 feet. She had to go on the porch to leave the food by his door and his sofa was easily visible from the wide open door.

Some people claim she opened the door but that claim is false.

She messed up filming and putting it online because she wanted the attention. Had she simply reported it to Door Dash they probably would have banned the guy.

The issue for the guy is leaving his door wide open while naked and I am sure Door Dash will use that to fight paying out a lot. What they can't fight is her putting in online.

Even a half decent lawyer could argue this in his favor and get him paid.

Despite her circumstances

If all she did was take pictures, no one else would know about it. Surely sharing nudes of an un-consenting individual is against the law everywhere. I hope so.

Out of genuine curiosity: what was your purpose in only quoting my first paragraph, and excluding my second, which discussed exactly that?

Because I was already replying to the first part when I read the second part... decided to roll with it anyway. It's dreary, wet and cold here- I'm bored.

Here is the original TikTok. The dude has his legs bent so it's not like he was just hanging brains all over. In the one without the black dude's face to hide nudity, you can't see his junk.

He left the door open 10 feet from his couch, though.

She shouldn't have filmed and posted it. She could have filmed it and sent it to DoorDash to get him banned, and that would have been i,t but that wouldn't have gotten her the attention she wanted.

I think the case he has against DoorDash is her posting it. Not filming it because he left the door wide open and she had to go on his porch to leave the food. It is a duplex with two doors.

I actually delivered Door Dash once to earn a little extra gas money. The crazy thing is that I would be scared as a guy to even take the required picture of the food in front of an open door to confirm delivery with a naked woman passed out nearby on the couch. A guy could potentially get in trouble for doing that even if she was nowhere in the picture yet a woman can apparently come right up to the threshold, pull out her phone, zoom in on a naked unconscious guy, film it, post it online, doxx the guy putting his first name, last initial, and address online, and then accuse him of SA and somehow have several people defend her as a victim. The double standard is insane!
