I just listened and watched his new video and totally don't understand why some are complaining. He talks about the reality of growing up in a small town compared to growing up in a big city. The videos he incorporated into his songs were real incidents.

I hear some are saying it's racist, but I don't see it that way at all. There is a big difference between growing up in a big city and a small town. It's no worse than African American men talking about hanging with their **** and later meeting their bitc--- in the club, fu----- them while carrying a 9mm.

Just because you may not agree with someone doesn't make them a racist. Also, you may not agree with someone because the reality of a situation is hard to accept.

This is all you need to understand. People and organizations in power profit from a divide among people.

Pick something that will generate online engagement, share an outrageous take and then people today feel the need they have to pick a side and then let the world know which generates more online engagement and so on and so on.

The topic if so fricking ludicrous it's not even worth mentioning or posting I stand with Aldean because even that generates more power and wealth for the puppet masters but people in this country are addicted to picking a side/team and unable to not let the world know.

Have never listened to one of his songs. I tried to make it through this one, and only made it through 22 seconds.

It's a shite song and people feel the need to pretend it is a good one because Aldean has wallet chains and American Flag bandanas.

CMT is dumb for removing it. I'd imagine that the video wasn't doing well to begin with and when somebody complained they just pulled it without any thought. I haven't looked in to how well it was doing before the recreational outrage so IDK

Because his words are true and his video reflects truth. The media and gov support criminal behavior, the average American does not. I’m not a country music fan, but like this one.

Pretty much this

Aldean was and is a clown and the song is typical red meat for the PFG wearing crowd to cling to. Of course I think its dumb for people to be outraged about the song, but it all goes to the lowest common denominator.

Crazy how so many on this site hate people that get triggered by bs yet they’re so triggered by a bro country song.

Sadly, most Americans can't see this therefore we are as we are. All we have to do is quit letting them divide us and collectively hold them accountable.

His "music" sucks, so I opted to read the lyrics.

Progressives are ALWAYS pissed off about something. The "artist" is now racking up thanks to the canceling of his video.

Pretty much everything wrong with everything is reflected in this story.

People were told they need to be offended by it. So now they’re trying as hard as they can to make it offensive.

These are the same morons that think a movie about stopping child trafficking is controversial.

Progfilth manufacturing racism as usual.

We’re such a racist country that they have to manipulate music to find it.

The song honestly sucks but if it offends liberals than I fully support it.

Progressives hate when the reality of their narratives are exposed to the light of day.

Progressives agree with their bubble because they cannot generate ideals of their own.

If someone tells them its racist, they need no objective reason to think its racist.

I can boil it down to this

Urban implies black people

Small town or suburban implies white people
