Does your personality most resemble your mom or dad?

As a youngster, my personality was like my dad. As an adult (I’m 47 now), it has completely flipped to favor my mother. I would have never predicted that as a child.

Dad by a lot. Granted my parents divorced when I was 12 and I lived with my dad.

As a kid I was more like my mom's personality, as a teen to early 20's I was more like my dad's personality, and then now I'd say pretty evenly mixed.

My dad was an alcoholic so I’d say I favor his personality.

Growing up I always favored my father. We had similar interests and would read the same books and stuff. Now that I'm older I realize that my mom has similar interests as well for the most part outside of sports stuff. I think most people would probably still say I favor my dad, but from my perspective it's a good mix.

I have my Dad's sense of humor and find myself with some of his same mannerisms and using his catch phrases, to the ire of my kids and wife. I am probably 65/35 Dad/Mom.
