money, (usually 7-8% of salary?) and a turkey or ham. the bonuses i suppose are dependent on how well we've done this past year.

We get bonuses tied to year-end performance, but it doesn’t get paid out until early March usually.

I have a record shop and just give the staff $100 credit to the shop. Scoring rare records is really why they work there anyway.

The bonus is that you are still employed.

Does your company give out Christmas Bonuses?
No bonuses during the year, around thanksgiving, usually a bonus but since the local office lost the president to Birmingham, they've been trying to cut bonuses.
I have gotten roughly a 5% bonus the last few years and a 5% raise each year around the Fourth.

Our company has never given a Christmas bonus.
Never have given a Christmas Party.
Owner refuses to say 'Merry Christmas '.
For the last quarter I've been carrying the work load of two other employees who have disappeared.
Everyone hates everyone.

My stocks give out dividends. Does that count?

jelly of the month club. The gift that keeps giving.

They give us some little "gift" that is fairly useless in the grand scheme of things instead of a bonus.
I don't understand, instead of buying us random crap, just hand out envelopes with the money you spent on each one of those things and give me the money instead.
Let me choose what I want to spend that money on.

This isn’t the boomer economy so no.

My “Christmas bonus” was a $100 crate & Barrel gift card and an ornament given out at the holiday party.
My actual bonus comes in feb/march.

Yes. Boss tried to stop it years ago but my wife’s crazy cousin kidnapped him and we straightened that shite out quickly.

Yes either one or two weeks pay depending on how our year went.
Posted on 12/7/25 at 1:25 pm to 225Tyga
I work for a Fortune 500 company and they don't do anything at all for us. In fact, they do a little less each year. They cut our budget I think 5 or 6 years ago and won't give us money to even have a Christmas party. So my boss does one at his house for us and covers the cost himself.
