Look, I know there is a lot of negative things about Louisiana, but I think its the most unique state in the country.

There are several things that need fixin, but we take some pride in our state huh?

Absolutely. Most people in other states have little to no pride in our state.

No louisianians are too divided (north vs south, Lafayette vs Baton Rouge, south I-10 vs North I -10, etc)

Based on the amount of trash and litter, I’d say Louisianians don’t have any pride at all in where they live.

I’m sorta with the OP. I get it about the divisions and separations geographically, but south Louisiana is about as uniquely tied together as any culture in the world..

"Unique", means 'one-of-a-kind'. Don't modify it. Doesn't make sense. Thanks.

On topic... Uh, yeah. They're a proud people. Hard to understand why though.

My coworker is from Shreveport but lives in the Bay Area. When I told her I was out of office today, she had no idea it even happened.

North Louisiana is weird as shite.

Texans, Hawaiians, & some Californians can be over the top but it's a different kind of pride.

It is though. I'll give it that, one of the weirdest states with unique architecture, food, history, traditions, etc.

It's so rich in culture that Mississippi benefited and got some from it.
