Does it seem like everyone is freaking out about the flu more than normal?

The flu seems to be doing some damage this year. The freak out might be warranted. I know of two daycares that shut down because of the massive amount of flu.

Also I might be freaking out about the flu.

I would rather the flu than the autism it is causing in today's youth

I’ve got a friend that has 17 employees that tested positive for strand B including himself just this week.

Pharmaceutical companies just love profiting on flu shots.

Shot wasn’t as effective this year. Supposedly an unforeseen strain.

Looking at the CDC map, it has been more intense this year than at this same time the past couple of years.

I’ve never in my life ever got a flu shot and I’ve never had the flu.

The 17 people I just mentioned that all tested positive all got flu shots this year.

CDC has a weekly flu report

This one is the latest

LINK

8 pediatric deaths so far this flu season. I know in the county I live in there are several more cases of flu than there were this time last year.

We recently had a 20 year old woman die of the flu in PHX. Mother of 2, was diagnosed with the flu...died 2 days later.

I’m 37 years old and have never had the flu... until right now. My 11 year old daughter had it 3 weeks ago and I’m guessing it’s a matter of time before the rest of the family gets it.

Merry Christmas!
