In the past two weeks I have had 4 people come to my house, one just a few minutes ago (local elections and between city council and mayor there are 5 people so I have one more who will likely be coming around).

A little while ago the dude rang my doorbell, I stopped what I was doing and went into the living room, make sure the dogs don't run out and when I opened the door he was going into the neighbor's driveway. I make sure my dogs don't get out so they don't run at the person who is at the door, but since he wasn't there, I let them stay out for a few minutes so I could close the door so he wouldn't see me then come back..

But when I do talk to them I feed them as much bullshite as they feed me, but they all same pretty much the same thing.

The first person who came to my house was a city council candidate. He told me "I am going to work with the mayor to continue progress and to lower utility cost". I asked him why we don't already have the lowest prices they are able to sell it to us for and how did he plan on lowering the prices.

He told me he would look through the budget tooth and nail to find where they can make cuts. Then I told him "Thats what we need. Someone like you to not just look through budgets, but to pay attention to details".. He looked at me, held his hand out and said something like "you have my word".

Then when he left I wondered if he was that dumb or did he think I was that dumb. And I hope its that he thinks I am that dumb because that means, if he gets elected, that will be another dumbass in office.

Can you show me where I have made digs about republicans?

Are you one of those type who blindly support someone simply because of their party?

I moved here a little more than a year ago and I really don’t give a shite about the local politics TBH. I never put signs in my yard where I used to live.

Shouldn’t we ask politicians for payments to put signs in our yards? Seems fair since they want to use our property as an advertisement for them.

This.

And that statement has nothing to do with anyone else's opinion of your intelligence.
