It’s a large rust belt city

They tend not to be sexy choices but if you can stomach the winter - normally totally fine places to live and many are having resurgences

I spent some time in Cleveland
It’s not that bad
I’ve seen far worse than that city

I’ve lived about 45 minutes south of Cleveland for about a year. There is a very small handful of OK places in CLE but overall it sucks and has too much culcha.

3 and 1/2 years, worse than bad. Racism, cold, snow, ice, dark dreary days even in Summer

I hat that fricking place

Cold AF, horrible architecture, not many sunny days, bad infrastructure, horrible sports teams, bums galore downtown, and filled with people from Ohio.

I’ve never been there but it’s hard to get out of my memory when, back in the 70s, the river was so polluted it caught on fire !

Imagine for a second, New Orleans, but shitty winters instead of shitty summers, and no real character outside of da culcha.

It's not as terrible as it sounds, but it's not on my move list.

It's a very enjoyable, friendly Midwestern city to visit. Some good restaurants, good bars, hospitable and approachable people, surprising number of attractive women.

Gary and Flint are what people think Detroit is. Saginaw is a real shite hole too. The rustbelt has done so much damage to the Midwest's image. Places like northern MN and MI, Wisconsin, parts of Nebraska and Mizzou are great.

suck

Such a crude, semi-vulgar word when used like you did, but appropriate for the slob, bottom of the barrel times that we live in I guess.

As far as The First 48 scale goes:

...
...
...
...
...
...
Cleveland
Detroit

And I'd say those last two are interchangeable.
