Does Audi make the best sports sedan now?

Talking about competitors to the A6, not the smaller sedans. I'm about to turn in a Cadillac CTS 4 after renting it for two weeks. Drove the shite out if it. I was interested in what the reviewers said about it, and it turns out in came in 2nd to the Audi in the couple I read. I'd write a detailed review of it but it would mostly be bitching about their automation, worst of which the brights would automatically turn on and off, though the stereo was really nice and it was fast.
More to the point, I read reviews of the Audi and the one that came in near the end...the 5 series BMW. It seems the Audi is the only one really sport inspired anymore. Sad really, but I guess luxury has trumped everything else in its class. Still strange that all other brands get more cushy and Audi doesn't, but comes out on top. The interior and exterior styling got the top ratings as well, but they mostly attributed the high marks to handling.
Anyone have an A, or S, 6 and love it? After putting 1000+ miles on the 2nd place car I'm intrigued to drive one. I wouldn't want to own the CTS.

I think the 3.0 A6 is the best compromise. Especially with the S-line package. Same engine as S4, ~320HP. The S6 is better, sure, but for everyday driving the 3.0 is all you need.

A couple of family members have an Audi but none of them have a 6. They have had good luck out of theirs so far but I have heard bad things in the past.

Well I love my infinity G37s sedan 6speed manual. They don't make them anymore though, mine is a 2013
