Usually, I only use Crystal or Louisiana brand. My favorite snack is smoked gouda cheese dipped in hot sauce.
So I stop by Winn Dixie to pick up some cheese and hot sauce the other day and was inside before I realized I had left my wallet in the truck and only had a few dollars cash in my pocket.
So, I had enough for the cheese I like, but only have a couple of bucks left for the hot sauce.
I'm gonna be cutting it close, but I notice they have this Southeastern Grocers Louisiana style sauce for $1.29 for a 12 ounce bottle, so I grabbed that.
This stuff is really good. I'll probably keep buying this.
Oh yeah, if you ever get a chance to go to Avery Island, where Tabasco sauce came from, that place is beautiful...except for the part down at the salt mine.

Neither has tomatoes and only 1 has water in it.
Cholula = watered down Xanthan Gum?

quote:I consider Tabasco on red beans fine dining. It also has an amazing effect on scrambled eggs.
Red beans and White beans
Chipotle Tabasco is also amazing.
If I had Tabasco and Louisiana on the same table and it wasn't red beans or scrambled eggs, I'm likely grabbing the Louisiana. But Tabasco is still hot sauce royalty.

Love Tabasco sauce--put it on all kinds of food, from baked potatoes to spaghetti & meatballs to anchovy/shrimp pizza

The only reason I eat food is so I can use Tabasco.

It’s for people not from Louisiana

The tiny Tabasco bottle in MREs is the tits.

I used to. It really isn’t a good hot sauce. There are so many better at every heat level.

Crystal extra hot is the goat imo.

I’m wouldn’t say that I’m a big hot sauce guy, but I will say this, Tabasco was made for red beans and rice.

Tabasco Sriracha = underrated
People misspelling Tabasco/Tobasco properly rated.
Best sauce they make is the Roasted brand Tabasco, garlic or Chipotle

1. Louisiana hot sauce
2. Chula - or whatever it’s called with the little cork top thing
3. Crystal - moves to #1 when out on red beans and washed down with a cold glass of milk
