Do you still have your Jesuit rejection letter or have you thrown it away yet? If you still have it, you may want to toss it. Just let it go. You’ll feel better.

My GF was going to Ben Franklin, when I got accepted there, Jesuit was not on the leader board. I never regretted that decision, unfortunately we moved out of the area a year later.

BTW in the early to mid 80's while at HC for 6 years (middle school) we only lost once and that was in 8th grade. I hated those guys and I took particular delight in 1984 when we deprived them of an undefeated season, then came back and humiliated them again in 1985 with Wally English's kid at QB.

—-you are proving what so many people have said here. You’re stuck in high school.

This post is riddled with grammatical errors. If you had gone to Jesuit, maybe you would’ve learned where to put periods in order to avoid run-on sentences.

I’ve never heard anyone that didn’t get accepted to Jesuit.

When I was at Jesuit, Brother Martin was our big rival for everything. Holy Cross was always mentioned as a rival but when I was there we best them in pretty much everything.

So many people from my class have gone on to become exceptional fathers, husbands, and career men.

Always bad apples and exceptions, but I’m proud I went to Jesuit and the life-long friends I made there.

As someone who moved to Louisiana for college, it's bizarre how much people focus on where so and so went to HS.

It's really only a Louisiana thing.

Completely agree.

I still loved my time in high school and wish it the best, but I never gave a shite about where people went to high school.

This is mostly due to their high school affiliation being their most significant accomplishment in life. I know a decent Jesuit baw though. He’s a good dude.

If they went to Jesuit you will hear about in the first 15 minutes of conversation.

Boarding a flight I was sitting in the window seat and had on my Brother Martin hat. Guy with a satchel sits down in the aisle seat of the row. Says hello then "yeah I went Jesuit. I said, "I know; I can tell by the purse". Him with his head down shaking his head, "Ugh!! you Brother Martin guys..."

Man what?

Cabrini fun?

Mount Carmel and Dominican were both about the same, Mount Carmel being a little more laid back.

I guess some of us were lucky enough to make lifelong friendships at these schools. I don’t understand the backlash to those that attended a Catholic League school. Some guys are arrogant pricks but most are humble, charismatic, down to earth people!
