God not this shite again. What are some people’s fascination with trashing BR? If you don’t like it, fine, but what is the point of continually bringing this topic up? My family and I really enjoy it here. I’ve spent most of my adult life here (outside of 10 unmemorable year’s in texas), am raising my kids here, and don’t plan on leaving.

A few Saturdays in the Fall, sure. Other than that, it sucks. I lived there for 12 years and so glad I was able to get out

Baton Rouge is only good in the fall during the home games... lived there for 13 years and I can still feel the energy leading up to Saturday’s.... love that. Other than that, hot as hell, traffic and crime miserable.... not worth it.

You must not have traveled very much if you think the Shopping at Mall of Louisiana is good.

you must not read very well. You missed the part about it being the best that LA has to offer. The mall and the outside shopping included.

Uh...have you ever been shopping in New Orleans? Beats BR any day. Just off the top of my head: Lakeview Shopping Center; Saks (One Canal Place); Magazine Street. Heck, even Town Center has better shopping in BR than the Mall of Louisiana.

I don't hate it like the people on the board does. It has it's bad areas, and as much as I hate to use this phrase.. "it is what it is". A state capital city that is also the location of the state' flagship university. It has traits of a small town. It is a unique city, in it's own right.

LSU is about the only thing going for it....
Traffic is horrible... Crime is WAY out of control.
The Mayor is A TOTAL Joke and the cops , well they are dealt with the hand they were dealt..... The streets are terrible.... And Not sure about people in NBR that really give a shite except a free check for the government.............

Love the excellent education system, fantastic hospitals, excellent roads, little to no traffic and always easy flowing because it's well designed
