Yes, I have a couple of pairs. Shell cordovan especially Horween is some of the best wearing leather in the world. It is an excellent leather for a ton of uses.

I have several pairs, all for them Alden - and all of them in Color 8 Horween Shell. A pair of split toe blucher oxfords, cap toe balmorals, a pair of monk straps, and a pair of loafers. Probably the newest of those is 10 years old. Great shoes and American-made craftsmanship.

Yep. I have the Alden for BB unlined LHS, Alden for BB tassels, Alden 975s, and some vintage Florsheim PTBs (from the era when they still had the suicide heels). I take good care of them and don't anticipate ever needing to replace them.

Yes. I'll go cheap on many parts of my wardrobe but not shoes.
