Do you like carbonated water? It's quite refreshing for when you want to grab a beer.
Kind of like, do you like hot girls because there is one on the internet who will sell you her farts in a jar.

After a little while, the only thing that’s hard when you aren’t drinking is hanging out with people who are falling down drunk and want to spend time in bars that smell like vomit. That’s kind of unbearable sober. Not judging. Just saying.

He's made this thread like 4 or 5 times. He either wants attention or has no plan on actually stopping.
I don't really care, let this dude kill himself so he can "enjoy" those michelobs every night

If you don’t care, don’t click and read.
I hope he keeps on quittin’ till it sticks.

Relapses are part of the process. I've seen with all order of vices.

He makes attention whoring threads weekly and has been for years. . He’s worse than a teenage girl.

And, “Michelob” is a proper noun, which requires capitalization, you pompous arse.
Since you apparently have no other vices in the world, you have time to work on your poor grammar and punctuation. Then you’ll be perfect.

If you started a thread saying you were going to quit being an a-hole cold turkey, I would support you.

As a fat frick, I can assure you the fat shaming shtick you run isn't unique. I feel all of it deep in my big bones.

White knighting? Eh, maybe. The entire thread is set in the context of someone who clearly drinks in excess. When someone comes hat in hand and exposes weakness, I find the people that pounce super hard to be complete scumbags. Usually it's people who have deep insecurities and need some catharsis by belittling others. It comes off as pathetic to me.
If I came across harsh on the op it was more about the comment about it being live changing. I really wasn't trying to eb too harsh on him and normally I would have been nothing but positive.
It was the comments after that....that really got to me, especially the ones talking about getting a medical Marijuana card or just drinking a couple on the weekend.
Slippy I apologize if I came off harsh.....retarded of the fat fricka who thi k its normal to drink daily or even get shite faced or have 21 drinks every weekend....get some self perception and get some help. Stop trading one vice for another.

If you are going to stop drinking, then stop. Don't even sneak drink. You'll end up hiding empty whiskey and wine bottles all over your property and when your relatives and friends find them they will think you are weird AF.

Nah, not attention whoring. Today also happens to be my 31st wedding anniversary, so I took the missus out for dinner. It was the best part of my day, given the way it started.
To answer a few questions I saw while scanning the thread…
Not a teenage girl. I’m 56. 6 feet, 250. Yeah, I’m too fat. Wife is Cajun and cooks like a damn chef.
Blood work twice annually. I’m in the green on literally every marker including cholesterol and liver enzymes.
Blood pressure is good. Which is nice because my father has had HBP for years and his father died of heart disease.
I don’t drink every day, but I do sometimes. I go in spurts. Went 81 days without drinking at the beginning of the year. Work got real stressful around Easter, and I started drinking too much. I actually haven’t had anything in a week.
I was having a rhythm problem in June that scared me. A flutter or missed beat type of feeling. Got it checked. Wore a monitor for a week and it showed some nighttime arrhythmia that got the doctor worried. I have sleep apnea.
I just got off some medications that I had been on for a long time. Feeling great actually. There is a possibility that they have something to do with the arrhythmia.
What else do you motherfrickers want to know? If nothing, then frick off.

Slippy, that’s explains enough for me.
I’d say lay off the booze and lose some weight
You’re still very young. You have plenty of time to fix this and carry on

So you are overweight and drunk too much and now have health problems? Checks out
Posted on 8/31/22 at 8:35 pm to Slippy
I stopped in April. There are certainly some tough days but the best thing I have done. You will get used to it and grow to like how you feel.

Doubtful, you probably just feel less shitty than you were. No one that's 75lbs overweight feels "great"
