Hurt? Nope.

But stiff.

Just feels about the same as my back if I've been sitting in my office chair for too long.

I used to assist in those surgeries and it is a very simple procedure to just cut it.

I had pain in my feet once, went to the Dr and said it was my shoes.

Changed them and it went away

Or you got the neuropathy

Same - Feels similar to a particularly hard day on my feet, except that it goes away really quickly

Before opting for surgery for plantar fasciitis try shoe inserts and exercise to stretch the muscles in the back of your calf's. That helped mine immensely.

Are you taking any statins? They can cause muscle and joint pain.

My back does until I stretch it out. And the one trigger finger, pinky on right hand, is getting more painful. It gets stuck in the early morning then it is fine the rest of the day. It does not affect m6 grip.

I have developed Achilles tendinitis. The backs of my heels can be brutally tender on certain mornings. But this is mainly because i am 20 lbs over weight and try to play sports like i was 25 some times.

You have Plantars Fasciatis.

This, very common as men age. Stretches will take care of it, google them and keep doing them, will take a few weeks until you feel some relief.

Get your blood work up performed. You may have elevated uric acid levels. It’s was the source of my knee and foot pain

Was thinking the same. Could be gout. I had the same symptoms--pain and stiffness in my feet in the morning. I would get it checked--a full blown gout attack really sucks. Had it in my ankles a few times. Couldn't walk for two days the pain was so bad.

I have foot pain, supposedly plantar fasciitis. What works for me is rolling my feet on a spike ball. Qunol brand turmeric also helps me.

Try a golf ball. It works pretty well too.

Find someone in your area that can do the Graston Technique to help with your Plantar Fasciitis. It cured mine in both feet. Get some Powerstep inserts for your shoes. This will also help but you have to build up your time spent using the inserts.

I had this after touristing with heavy luggage for a couple of months. For me, it was a tight calf muscle. It only stopped after 30 days of rest (I’m serious, I didn’t think that would be necessary) with daily calf stretches. No problems since.

ETA: Do some research on which sneakers work best for your foot shape. This can make a huge difference in recurrence.
