Unless you need it for work, a watch is just a pretty bracelet.

Every day. Either my Apple Watch or a GShock.

What does this mean?

I was the same way until I realized I was always pulling out my phone to check the time when it would have been much more convenient to look at my wrist.
And it’s much easier to glance at your watch in the middle of a meeting with your Boss than it is to pull your phone out of your pocket.
Some don’t like the phone thing and see it as a sign of boredom or disrespect.

This. My grandfather used to tell me as a kid that a gentleman should always wear a nice watch, and that just stuck with me.
Same. First thing I did when I started making some real money was buy a birth year Rolex. I wear it every day except when I travel to sketchy places.

Watches are just jewelry now. You don’t need them for the time. I haven’t worn one in a long time, but I am thinking about an Apple Watch for health tracking.

Watches have pretty much always been jewelry.

That's subjective, but so what?

Been 10, 15 years. Took my watch off during a cruise (yes, a Carnival - go ahead and hate me).
As old as I am, I have the ability to guess the current time w/i about 5 mins anyway.

Wear a cheap watch everyday, don’t carry a cell phone., and even if I did it’s a pain to pull out a phone just to look at the time.

A bracelet is a piece of jewelry typically worn by women on their wrist. Pretty is an adjective used to describe something one finds pleasing to the eye. Synonyms are cute, or precious.
