Let’s say for hypotheticals , you were at ur peak athletic body. Wether that be when you were 20 or when you were 25 or maybe now , etc (Obviously some may have advantages). do you think , if you were put in the colosseum in rome back in time , would you come out alive (it’s a 1v1 vs a gladiator of that time , and ur fighting to the death)

Probably not although history says people were generally smaller back then.

Are you asking people who have probably never been in a real fight and definitely never had to fight for survival if they could win a 1 v 1 vs trained fighters in a fight to the death with hand to hand weapons of war?

99.9% of us die.

Do I know things that I know now? How much prep time do I get?

I'd poison my opponents with large amounts
of Xanax and ambien beforehand. Throw a handful of kief in their eyes..

I still haven't figured out how any of them lived long enough to get really good at it, must have had a lot of non-lethal fights.

Otherwise you either have a zero on the right side of your record or you are dead.

If I was able to train as they did, it’s possible, but going into it, without ever welding there weapons or training, NO.
