I have difficulty thinking people outside the U.S. would pay the stupid prices that Americans pay to attend that game.

You're talking several thousand dollars a person between travel, hotel, food and drink on top of the ticket prices.

Then consider secondary sellers charging scalper prices for tickets and it gets to ridiculous levels.

I don't think so. There's nothing in Europe w luxury seating. No one there would really want to Gen Pop in Wembley or the like for 10k Euros. 7 hour+ time difference has teams suiting up at 8:00 AM. Just doesn't seem likely.

The NFL doesnt give a frick about the fans....if there's a way for them to print money, they will have the Super Bowl on the North Pole

I wish they'd go back to day games on Super Sunday.

My question is, would the Europeans pony up the amount of money the NFL will charge for tickets.

Wouldn't matter. Americans that can afford Super Bowl tickets can also afford airfare and hotels. The tickets would get sold.

Probably so. I'm not a fan of it, but it will probably happen. On the flip side, it would be cool if the US could host a champions league final one day.

Probably wouldn't be at Wembley. It would be at Tottenham, which is the official home of the NFL in london now. Stadium was designed specifically to be able to also accommodate American Football games.

They would have no problem whatsoever selling seats. London is one of the richest, most expensive cities on earth and this would be more of an event than a football game. Anyone that can afford to go to the SB can likely afford to go to London for this. Arab sheiks would fill the thing up easily

This is going to happen. You're an absolute fool if you think it never does.

If the city put together a good enough bid $$$, then absolutely. Wouldn't be surprised to see the NFL sell out to the Saudis for a blank check to let them host.

Would obviously rather it be in London or Paris, but I don't think those would happen without a successful NFL-Europe expansion.

Dennis Rodman is going to move the NBA Finals to North Korea

I don't care one way or the other. I'd like to see them broadcast in another country so far away that it can only be seen in US at 3am.

You know, Goddell agreed to play SB LIX next year in Haiti now that I think about it. You could be right about Europe.

I mean it’s getting to a point that only high earners and celebrities are going/can afford to go. It barely feels like a football game anymore. More like a who’s who get together with some football being played. Would not surprise me.

London makes sense, but somewhere like Buenos Aires or Santiago Chile would be awesome, time change wouldn’t really be a factor.

I agree, London would be the ideal choice for many reasons. As far as time zones, that’s one reason why international really only work in certain places.

Having it so the game starts at 6am in the U.S. is a problem. Starting around noon or early p.m. though when it’s evening in London, that’s doable and even normal for the NFL season. Why not the Super Bowl?

Anyone that doesn't see that they have been setting this up for over a decade is nuts.

how would you work around the time zone differences?
It's pretty easily done with a basic grasp of arithmetic.

In the UK, they are always some hours ahead of us here in the US.

Hope this helped?
