Do you test the people you are interviewing in a weird way?

I always make sure the secretary gives them slightly incorrect directions in the building.

You can tell a lot about a person in those few seconds where they are lost.

So...the person you're interviewing already thinks your company is a bunch of dummies.

Great plan.

Sounds like you're an a-hole.

Usually I just cut a hole in my pants and let my balls hang out and act like there's nothing wrong.

So the applicant starts off thinking they are applying to an office full of morons....

One time I was 30 mins late for a job because I couldn't find the office and I got the job.

No. Start the relationship on a professional level and it had a better chance of staying that way.

Secretaries don't usually give directions. Receptionists do.

I am.

She essentially gives direction to my office door instead of the conference room.

It sounds silly, but they either: walk back for clarification, ask a stranger for directions (usually me), look around and spot the conference room, or... Like the guy who just left, get completely lost and end up outside.

This is a TINY office. No OT baller here.

ETA: Secretary VS receptionist, see above. Tiny.

I'd find your office bathroom and take a huge dump. No flush.

I fairy right before they step in the office. If they act like they don't smell anything that is a failed test. I need honest people.

I normally ask non technical questions like favorite sports team, what kind of vehicle they drive.

Had a coworker who would ask " if you were an item in a grocery store, what would you be?"

If they don't bring their own pen I interrogate them on it. I also how they thought they were going to fill out the application or if they were demonstrating preparedness for the job.

Usually ask what kind of donuts they bring if they're late for work.
