It does amaze me how many people order lunch every day spending $10-20
And a lot of these people are barely making that per hour

I only get 30 minutes for lunch, and there is nothing around here I can walk to. There’s only a couple restaurants I can drive to and get back in time. I try not to ever do that unless I forget my lunch at home. Only a couple places deliver, but it’s expensive, usually around $18+/meal and arrives lukewarm at best. I call it “paying the idiot tax”.

Not in a brown bag. In my Yeti cooler to show how awesome I am

Other than 1-2 times per month, I always bring my lunch. An old hand told me one time when I started work, there are two things I needed to go buy-a lunch box and a coffee pot.

I work somewhere with few (if any) food options to purchase. I bring my lunch every day. Usually, it’s something I can heat up in a microwave, but sometimes it’s a sandwich.
I eat out once or twice per week on average. We typically have a lunch meeting almost every week too. I try to bring leftovers 2-3 days.

Im in the process of it. I would eat out for breakfast and lunch and some days dinner. I am trying to make some changes. starting with fixing my own breakfast, and keeping drinks and food in my mini fridge at work so I am not tempted to stray.

That's been my experience.
Then having to listen to them ask for a raise because they are having financial trouble, as I look out into the parking lot at their $80K truck.
(next to my $40K truck)

No. I still use my Six Million Dollar man lunchbox.

Yes, that is why I can afford a house.

I don't use a paper bag but I do bring a sandwich for lunch. I used to practically live off of fast food joints but now I almost never eat at them anymore

When I’m in the office, I try to bring a lunch, usually leftovers from last night. I loathe having to go out unless it’s necessary. Only times I don’t is if I’m traveling or have a business lunch planned.
And usually I’ll warm up my lunch and eat it at my desk.

When I’m in the office and don’t have enough time to come back home for lunch I take it in.
Usually some yogurt, jerky, a protein bar. Sometimes if I have leftovers that wouldn’t be offensive to warm up. I also have one of those mini, single serving crockpots so I’ll do soup alot in the winter.

Run by the Aldi near the office every other week and get about $25-30 of stuff to make sandwiches, chicken salad, some frozen foods, etc.
