Do you say “ant” “antie” aunt” or “auntie”?

My SO says ant/antie and it’s like nails on a chalkboard to my ears. She’s from southern Ohio.

Id venture to say it’s more pretentious to pronounce a word in a way other than how it’s spelled

Ok- You pronounce all the above words exactly how they are spelled to another person...tell me how they look at you and who is pretentious then.
